Agreed, although the FS Parts is particularly dangerous, especially for the wallet. I never knew that I NEEDED so many different accessories.
You wait until you've been on here as long as me or someone like DSL
But yes, it's a brilliant place for info, advice and much more LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Stu, just remember all the questions you ask benefit everybody here. As an old Prof of mine liked to say, the only daft question is one that isn't asked.
Yup, I've bought and sold the value of a small family car in D3 accessories via this site over the last 10 years. I've also couriered some wierd and wonderful stuff, from full-length roofracks to a gas bbq.
Oddly enough it's cheaper than running an R53 Cooper S, which I bizarrely bought as a cheap plaything. Seems I may have failed to comprehend the cost of parts.....
The goats go in the trailer, although I have transported a couple of lambs in the boot. Stopped off in town to pick up a curry on the way back and got some very odd looks from passers-by as I parked to the sound of much bleating.
I glibly informed them it was an upgraded reverse sensor, locked the car and wandered off to get the curry.
And our original breeding pair of geese arrived here in the boot also. Granted, in robust boxes that were subsequently burned when they dried out, but in the boot nevertheless

ur not wrong there , is like visiting a candy store
already updated my wiper stalks to the D4 ones,
