| D4 wheel arch extensions onto a D3 |

Hi all
I understand that the late D3 (MY09) were fitted with the same arch extensions as the D4 (ie the flatter bottom with the separate black textured trim piece).
Is it possible to fit retro fit those a pre MY09 front bumper or do you need to have the later 09 facelift front bumper (with the round textured lower corners)?
Any photos of people with D4 arches fitted to a D3 (and not having done a full D4 front end?)
