Blackvue Problems
Every few weeks my BlackVue tells me to replace the sd card. I take the card out of the camera, reformat on my computer put it back in the camera and all is fine until the next time. Is there a way of stopping this from happening?

Mine does the same, I think it's to do with how many times the card is written to.

Mine runs pretty well 24/7 with no problem. Have you tried a better quality card?

The card is a Sandisk 32gb so pretty good quality wise. I've still got the original blackvue card so I'll try that.

Is your Blackvue internal battery ok?
Does the camera shutdown correctly when you switch the car off?
My DR300G does not shutdown correctly. It no longer says "shutting down".
The 3v internal battery is flat. Going to replace it this weekend. Very simple to do on this model.Mitsubishi Outlander Phev 4H 2018.

Still running an original BlackVue card at four years old, occasionally it has a hissy, a reformat in situ by holding the button sorts it.

I will try resetting by holding the button down. During normal use it shuts down properly so I'm hoping that it's not a battery issue.

Just tried the reformat in situ by pressing the button but this didn't work. Will need to reformat on my computer.

Think you'll find the card causes the problem.... if you think it's probably overwriting itself every day...like yourself mine was contiuously eating cards after a few months... I then purchased one through the blackvue shop and its lasted a lot longer....

I've reverted back to the original blackvue card. It's only 16gb but seems to be working fine now.

I replaced the 3v battery & the 5v 1.5F Supercapacitor in my DR300G & it's shutting down properly again.
