| Service/Oil service reminder |
|
I am sure that I used to reset the service reminder on my Disco 3,but having studied the hand book and this Forum, I cannot find any reference on how to do it on the Disco4 My vehicle is a 2014 Disco 4 (2015 model)HSE. Any guidance or instruction on how to do a reset would be greatly appreciated.

You need a IID tool or the equivalent to do it on the D3 or D4.

It will be reset by the garage during the service - if they have the kit to do it  Visitor from fullfatrr.com

Gave my 2016 d4 an oil change last month 6 months after dealer service, I was expecting to have to have the oil level indicator reset when next at the dealer, no need it worked without doing any thing I put the same amount of oil in as came out. Display showing all good.

I don't think it's the oil level indicator that needs reset. It's the oil quality monitor or oil service indicator which is important and needs reset when you do an oil change.
