Side Steps without cutting the sill?
Hi All
Looking for some side steps for our 2016 Discovery 4 landmark.
Most of the websites seem to state that you need to drill out the rivets to the sills and cut out to fit the side steps. As this is on lease I'm looking for ones that can be fitted without the need to remove the sills and cut outs. And also look good on a black discovery?
Thanks

Welcome to the forum.
Never had to drill out any rivets on any of the Disco's I've fitted steps to. Remove the plastic sill trim and the fixing holes are already there, just covered with a piece of tape. You will find the plastic sill is marked out on the inside for where you need to cut it out. Fit the brackets and then refit the plastic sill and then finally fit the steps to the brackets. If you have it on lease and need to put it back to standard before you swap. you would need to replace the plastic sill trims. Takes about 30 mins a side to fit.
Hope that helps.
