[Wanted] Car trailer (hire.buy.trade for use of) Fife

My usual contacts have failed me...

I have to pick my TR6 restoration project up from my mate (and D3 forum member).

I cant find a trailer hire company locally.. does any one know of one locally or can anyone lend (happy to pay for use, reciprocate the favor by lending you the use of my workshop and 2 post ramp etc.. or make a donation to a charity or WHY)

As the car is 'down south' i would need it for 3 days in total...

I have found it's cheaper to have them recovered professionally, than it is to hire a trailer, fuel costs etc. May be worth looking into My D3 Build Thread

DM - You could be right... but I'm heading down for MikyB's Big Birthday bash... so thought i would kill 2 birds with one stone...

I'm thinking it might be cheaper just to buy one and sell it the next week..!! Unless an Local LR experts want me to contract for them ... Whistle

Are you sure it won't fit on the tipper? I've had a Volvo 740 (and a RR Classic) on my Ifor 12' - plenty of overhang but provided the wheel footprint fits...... Then again, might be a bit aqueaky bum ref width I suppose Laughing Currently 2009 Disco 3 SE, 2013 MY D4 HSE and 2016 D4 SE

Alas its the smaller 510TT ... It can take a mini Digger or a UTV ... but just too short for a TR6 .. alas....

Hmmm, wheelbase is just 226 cm which is less than 8'? Currently 2009 Disco 3 SE, 2013 MY D4 HSE and 2016 D4 SE

This is in Glasgow rather than Fife but he has 3 flat bed trailers.
I rented one last week & it was great....
