remap ?

evening all, how can i tell if my 2.7hse has been remaped ? i have 3flash clock on dash ect, its my 1st disco, certanly goes some, i have the foxwell scanner

You cant, it will need the file downloading from the engine ecu and then looking at by a engine tuning man, like Bell Auto's or others, they will be able to tell.

I think tickover sounds like it has a bit 'deeper/lower' tone post remap, but that might just be in my head.

Yep, it's in your head, tick over no different.
If it's a quality remap you will know by the Very Happy on your face, it's known as the "Disco permagrin", I know cos I've got one Very Happy
 It can when others can't,

Most of my customers after having me put a BAS remap on their discovery or Range Rover Sport, tell me they get around 10% improvement in economy. some say 15% but I think they may be driving extra cautiously tbh.
Of course, each car is slightly different and everyone's driving styles are also slightly different. Thumbs Up
