Sat nav screen goes off instantly |
|
Morning gents. I've searched the forum for this fault but can't find anything similar. As soon as I remove the key from the ignition, the sat nav screen goes off. It used to stay on for a couple of minutes before it all went to sleep but seems to have got bored of doing this. Also, the fbh stops instantly as well, but the radio screen stays lit.
I fitted a dash cam at the weekend, but this is simply piggy backed onto the fuse for the power sockets, and this goes off instantly now too, it didn't when I first fitted it.
Any ideas? I thought battery but it's relatively new and the IID tool says charging is good at around 14.2v
Cheers

Sounds like you have a relay thats not working, there is a in the BCU that controls this, also check that you have not blown a fuse on that side as well.

Sound normal if you have been driving ?
If you haven't actually got to ignition II it will stay on

Even if I just turn ignition on, the sat nav screen goes straight off when I remove the key. Radio stays lit up for a couple of mins
