My pearl works perfectly via Bluetooth , I'd love a cradle to fit it! But Bluetooth is fine right now. So good I sold my nokia and cradle ! Go for it, its a brilliant device and I wrote this reply on it as I'm away from my Mac for a few days 2007 HSE Java Black.....sold

Doctor Diesel do you think that might be because you have an 07 vehicle? Mine is 06.
Do you need to do anything to connect, or do you just get in with it in you pocket?

Has anyone tried Brodit for a cradle.
Had problems two years ago trying to source a cradle for my ipaq H6365 and Brodit was the only one who came up trumps

Exactly what is a "Blackberry Pearl" ..... [dont know why they didn't call it the 'Javaberry Pearl'].
Without scrolling through the cr*p presentation what exactly does it do??
ie how superior is it to my HP ipaq 6365...... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Basicly its a Smartphone with realtime push email support, good browser support (browsing d3 and typing this reply right now),camera, media player, pda, etc etc.
It is tiny(smaller and thinner than a nokia 6230i) but really really easy to type on and it works with a Mac and a pc perfectly. Also, it holds a 1gb micro sd card and with a £10 per month data bundle, all the email and browsing/downloading is unlimited with my O2 contract [as was the pearl itself]
It gets its name from the trackball integrated into it
Best go and try one
The real kicker is it has nowt to do with bill gates!

Poor RF performance compared to some others.
Some mobile companies are removing it from sale due to its impact on customer perception of their networks

Am on O2 contract and have had it about the country quite a bit without any problems , GPRS is decent enough and is also quick enough when using Edge.I haven't used it properly as a phone , as I use my nokia.
I've browsed a few sites including this and it's pretty much user friendly , even for a technodunce like myself.
