Woody Air Compressor quick fix thank you
Woody fitted a set of new front wheel bearings at the weekend ,but on the way home the dreaded Ride Height Only flashed up a quick chap over the weekend with Woody and he suggested coming back today .I got to Woody's early as agreed and a quick check with an ID tools showed that the compressor was over heating and cutting out the cover had a crack in it ,I then asked what next and felt a little feint in the wallet region ,we chatted about my options and he felt that swapping the cover was not a great answer and asked have was I for time I said no rush why ? he replied that he could strip an old failed unit down and salvage the bits I needed for mine .One hour later I left the workshop with a fully functioning suspension and here the rub when I went to pay him he would only take enough money to cover the amount of WD40 he had used !!! it feels like he had paid me for coming ,embarrassed or what
