2 engines 2.7D open and sadly waiting

Hello to everybody.
I have two engines open to change the bearings.
RRS 2005 and Disco3 2007 both 2.7D
Some of the members of the forum has sent to us the manual of Citroen but the tightening measures are evidently wrong.
From South Africa (Mr Bosch) we now got new measures that seem exact, but we are only missing the 1/16 bolts measures because they are different size from the 17/24 bolts. We found the exact extending bolts and the bearings in UK.
We are in Sicily.
Thank you for any help you can give.
Giacomo

I said you take the numbers in the Citroën manual and x10 to get a figure in Nm.

Exact details in the email I sent with the manual

Hello Pete,
a local LR mechanic told us to be careful with some measures of the Citroen manual that might be wrong. So we had contact with someone in SouthAfrica that suggested a different tightening on main bearing bolts: instead of 145 N.m it would be 100N.m. Do you know anyone that has used these measures?
We are also looking for the 16 bolts for the crankshaft to engine bloc.
Thank you for your help.
Sorry for long silence
Giacomo

Looking at Page 36 of the citreon manual.

Order of tightening for screws (16) and (17)
1-16 (16)Bearing cap fixing screw (screw M9)
17-24 (17)Side of engine - cap cover screw (screw M6)
Method of tightening:
- Pre-tighten the 16 screws (16) (from 1 to 16) to : 6 = 60Nm
- Pre-tighten the 8 screws (17) (from 17 to 24) to : 1,5 = 15Nm
- Pre-tighten the 16 screws (16) (from 1 to 16) to : 14,5 = 145Nm

THEN ANGLE TIGHTEN
- Tighten the screws (16) (from 1 to 16) : 90°
- Tighten the 8 screws (17) (from 17 to 24) to : 3,3 = 33Nm
- Tighten the screws (17) (from 17 to 24) : 47°

Tolerances removed for clarity

Have a read of the Jaguar owners with the same engine:

If you take the citroen tolerance into account the lowest would be 125Nm and be in specification.

Therefore a compromise would be someone between 100 and 125

and then angle tighten.
