DATA only SIM Cards in France?

Am off to France later this year, anyone got any recommendations to a data only SIM card for use in my Sony Tablet whilst there?
I have to use a SIM as there is no WiFi at the campsite and SWMBO will want to be on Skype to her Mum.
Will only need to be valid for a month or so but could end up using quite a lot of data as her Sister and her 2 kids are also coming, so could do with having the ability to create a WiFi hotshot.

Is it worth trying to buy one in France or is it worth getting a MiFi box here?

Appreciate any replies

Hmm, that looks really interesting. £27 for 12Gb and it lasts for 12 months. At that price, might have to get one for my tablet and one for the rest of them with a MiFi.
Thanks for the reply

The cheapest place to buy a Huawei 4G MIFI with 12GB/12 month Three SIM included is from the Three Store at £80 :
http://store.three.co.uk/view/plan/MBBD29122014T113520

If you don't need 4G then a 3G version is £70 :
http://store.three.co.uk/view/plan/ContractD02072014T090336

I bought the 4G version (3G compatible) last year and found that there wasn't much 4G in France, but lots more in the UK. I used 6GB data in 6 weeks in France - just two of us using phones and a laptop most days for browsing and emails. Make sure your laptop is up to speed with Windows Update before you go, otherwise you mightl get a big data hit.

Cheapest replacement 12GB/12 month Three SIM I've found recently is here:
https://www.mymemory.co.uk/SIM-Cards/3/3-P...-Broadband

Does anyone know whether you need to initiate a Three data SIM in the UK before going abroad, or can you wait till you get there ?

I had a MIFI in Colditz a couple years ago (with Del and another mate as it happens) on Voda I think as it was a decent deal at the time - and the phone connected, so it was on wifi and promptly empted the data by doing about 3 updates! Embarassed

So moral of the story is, make sure updates are turned off before using a Mifi.

Actually got a SIM in Poland (Which was the aim of the trip) which cost about £2 or so for about 2Gb of data.

Polish data is now even cheaper. For less than we paid for 3gb you now get 15gb. Not going to bother when heading through Polskiland this July, Three works just fine there now. Thumbs Up

Really? I can tether to Three on mi-fi but it's never let me tether to my phone. Even last week when I mixed up my SIM's and then got confused as to why it wouldn't let me.
