Low coolant level, odd one this

As i mainly drive short distances and very rarely get the chance to give it the beans, at every fill up i give it a good squirt of heavy right foot to clear out some of the crap in the intake pootling around seems to build up, today during the "giving it the beans" the low coolant warning came up, got home checked and the coolant is within the range, anything to worry about Question

If it's within the correct range, could be being pulled into the system when giving it the beans and then is released again when you get off the throttle. But no idea how!

Or could just be the float going pourous. New expansion bottle is the cure for that one.

I heard that the coolant sensor can give false readings. The float starts to take in coolant and sink giving the impression its low when it isn't.

Yep, the float becomes a sink over time. Rolling Eyes
