Nappa leather steering wheel part number ? |
|
Hi all,
Having been spoilt by the nice smooth leather steering wheel on my Jag I am hoping I might be able to upgrade the wheel on my 2007 LR3/D3. I see some posts that say MY2009 went "nappa" but I can't find a matching part number to scour eBay here - anybody help ? Or if you have one on a shelf you might consider shipping to me in the US let me know.
I don't have the heated wheel, I do have the voice controls and phone buttons but I believe you can swap the cutouts over.
Many thanks
Stuart

Hi there are some options here. They don't have the LR part number but would ship to the US I expect.

It's been superceded several times, from what I could find the current numbers are:
LR017033
LR017034
LR017035
LR017036
LR017037
LR017038
Apparantly they all differ on stuff like cruise control, voice input, telephone, speed control. Maybe the only differene is in the rear plastic cover, which pops off, but I couldn't tell you that for certain.
If you're changing, I think you would want to make sure you get a 2009 wheel which has the nappa leather. Could be more challenging to get it right from just looking at ebay pictures.
Powerlfuk would be easiest way to go.
Good luck, seems a bit of a maze
