Parts for front differential D3
Hi!
Need a new collapsible spacer in my front diff on a 05-D3 Tdv6
Cant find any internal parts for the diffs in the microcat.
Anyone know the part number or where to buy?
Part 22 in the picture.
De-tangoed, G4 Winch, G4 Raised airintake, G4 Sumpguard, V8 brakes, 3 flash, clock on dash. Done belts, brakes, parkbrake actuator, transfer ecu, wheelbearings, air dampers, suspension arms, alternator, cruisecontrol,steelpan autobox++

Part not available. There is a place in America that makes there own but they are not cheap thou with shipping. It only crushes by about 2mm. You could try a spacer.Vehicles

If you measure the number of turns on removal, you should be able to reset to the same tension. Is what I understand.Vehicles

I have to rebuild the differensial with new bearings. This is not possible without the collapsible spacer.
Only the spacer will hive the correct pressure on the pinion bearing.De-tangoed, G4 Winch, G4 Raised airintake, G4 Sumpguard, V8 brakes, 3 flash, clock on dash. my only other suggestion is to get a 2-3mm shim and put under the spacer it should collapse another 2mm not problem. To allow you to pre tension it.Vehicles

That might be an god idea, i will try with som shims.
