Injector values after replacement |
|
Following the advice of a respected LR independent, I decided to replace my injectors on my MY06 TDV6.
Due to time constraints, I replace the right-bank first, and then the left back about a week later. All 6 are now new, VDO/ Siemens injectors. My glow plugs have all been replaced and the garage tested these and informed me they are working fine.
The car is running well - starts and runs smoothly, good improvement in power and mpg. I still get a slight puff of white smoke for the first 20 sec on the first start up of the day but it clears quickly. Any reason for this?
My main question, when I check the injector values on my IID BT, there is a bit difference between the two banks. The right-bank (injectors 1-3-5) are all running around 800, whereas the left-bank (2-4-6) are all around 1200.
Any ideas why this would be? I've drive the car for around 100 miles so I would have thought it should have settled down by now. Would a hard reset do anything?
