Front offside tyre scrubbed

Hi,

I parked my Disco 3 (2005) differently on the drive yesterday and had my drivers side front tyre sticking out. I knew I was due for tyre change soon, but looking at it now it's quite scrubbed all over.

The other side is fine and there is no sense of anything through the steering wheel to indicate alignment issues (but that's not to say there isn't of course).

I've had the car since December last year and I didn't inspect the tyres when I bought it other than to feel for the wear indicators.

I've attached a pic of the tyre, what do you think might be the cause?

Thanks in advance.

A pic of the whole tread may help too but suspension wear could be a factor (age mileage of car?) as well as alignment. The lower suspension arm, particularly the rear bush, can wear but usually gives a distinct 'knock' when the brakes are dabbed at crawling speed. In short, could be a number of things (ball joint, track rod end, wheel bearing?)and perhaps better asking someone with a knowledge of these cars to have a good rake around Thumbs Up

Hi Sorry, to dark now to take a pic of the whole tyre, but it looks like that all over, pretty even to be honest.

The car is 2005 and has done 146k miles. I have a receipt that says the front lower suspension arms and N/S/R upper arm was replaced in 2013 at 113,259 miles

I'll try the: crawl dab the brakes test tomorrow and listen for a knock.
