I'm scratching my head trying to figure out how to link 2 aquarolls to double my water capacity. My van has the Truma water system, which means the pump is in the hose, not an onboard pump. I've racked my brains and googled this question but have not come up with an answer.
Has anyone managed to do this successfully? Man with no D3 anymore, but cant leave the forum....how sad.

I can be done. I think Aquaroll do a "joining up" kit. I think one has to be above the other to get gravity to work otherwise you will end up with two half empty Aquarolls as the water levels out. I cannot really see the need. Just two Aquarolls side by side and swop the hose.

I've looked at the linking kit, but its a faff. You're right, one has to be higher than the other, and a float mechanism needs to be put into play.
I'm just thinking of how to stop getting SWMBO wet when I end her out to swap the rolls over..... Man with no D3 anymore, but cant leave the forum....how sad.

But then don't you need double the waste master?
Most sites with a drainage facility also have a tap to link the mains water direct to the van in which case you just use a single aqua roll with a float mechanism and the mains water connects to the aqua roll MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)

I use double aquarolls. There used to be a kit but it was not made by Aquaroll although it used their parts, so you can make up one yourself easily. The rolls lie on their sides with the caps facing and close to the ground. You draw the water off through one of the other caps which is halfway along the top side.
Big advantage is when water is low you can lift the one without the draw point up onto something (I use a cargo box) and it will drain into the other. When empty you can take it away for a refill while the other still maintains a supply to the caravan. Or if you work the way of bringing a small amount back from each toilet trip you just top up the second roll without disturbing the pump connection to the first one.
Parts used are two spare Aquaroll caps (caravan shop), two plastic tank fittings with threaded ends to suit the usual garden hose fittings, two such fittings, two mating hose fittings and about five feet of hose (B&Q). Less than £20. And use of a hole cutter to make a suitable hole in the cap to take the tank fitting.
Two Wastemasters anyway as two outlets. A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.

Waste pipes were modified to avoid the long run from the rear washroom and the tortuous drain from the kitchen. Empty only one at a time and girl friend still has a sink available for immediate needs. A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. if you have the trauma system the whale aqua master should fit direct the tap and into the same fitting you plug your pump in to .
Obviously no good with out a pitch with water and you have to use the tap at the end of the field , CL style
there is a kit available to link them or be adapted to do as my Dad did it ,but I cant recall what he did , I know one had the float / ball cock in to kept it toped up and act as a reservoir and linked them with the first barrel as the pump barrel .

I'm very rarely on a site with mains water hook up, I tend to use CL's out in the sticks.
I'm liking Navigators solution a lot.  Man with no D3 anymore, but cant leave the forum....how sad.

We find that one (of the larger) aquarolls is enough for 1 day - that's 2 adults, onboard shower we both use and 2 dogs who need water.
Why does yours not last ? Is it that we don't wash as much as you ?

"Trauma" there indeed. It allows high pressure water into the caravan and relies on a pressure reducer to keep it safe. In term of water in a caravan - a little goes a long way and a lot goes . . . . ! A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. I used the direct mains kit for a while until I heard about flooded vans then I changed to adaptor kit with float in Aquaroll - had a hose for waste water into gulley where available or into hedges
We had onboard tank and used to keep it topped up from Aquaroll to avoid running out during shower - not fun changing bottles half way through

Bit of work but how about fitting a on-board water pump with 2 inlet sockets on the outside of the van. I ended up fitting a on-board tank . Best thing I ever did.
