OK.. the compressor is in... It runs. but.. first, it ran for at least 3 mins, and the suspension didnt come off the bump stops. When I selected offroad height, it pumped up in 10-15s to full height and shut off. Then I selected normal height, and it bled out air, until it stopped at a nice leveled point. seems right. But the th compressor turned on, and wouldnt shut off. Repeat experiment.. now at normal height it shut off, but kept cycling. So now I have it at normal height, and ECU fuse pulled. We'll see if I have a leak, and how bad. But to me it sounds like a flaky sensor.. wheel, or some unloader press sensor or smthng.. Any ideas?
TIA..
PS.. so no wonder it burnt up the compressor motor.. was prob running all the time

no... when I was first debugging, I swapped that and engine relay.. works fine.
Now I have a new relay, came w. new compressor.. Should I swap the one now in engine slot, or now in compressor slot? both work ..
The new compressor works. it just doesnt shut off in normal position properly.. cycles 50% or more.
this morning I raised it to offroad.. no prob. but then it wouldnt lower to normal, and gave me fault, the susp little car symbol was switching red-yellow, and 30mph max warning appeared.. Still in high position.
I kinda think it's some valve or the height sensor.. Do you still think a relay may be an issue?

Suppose that duty cicle is commanded from firmware inside the EAS ecu, this is the reason for you have to update the EAS firmware when you go to AMK from Hitachi - Easy-Lift suspension module 4.0
- GoodWinch 9500 lb
- Full underbody protections
- Tree/Rock sidebars
- Prospeed roofrack & ladder
- Compressor guard
- Raised Air Intake
- Driving lights (2+4)
- 50 mm Waffle boards
- Altox Heater control
- Overland Rooftop Tent
- Rear seats entertainment
- Front & Rear camera
- GVIF
- Removable tow bar
- Cubby box fridge
- BFG KO2 265/65R17
- iidTool BT

so you have replaced the hitachi compressor with another hitachi ,put in the new relay that came with the new compressor ,what fault codes is it showing now?
clear any fault codes see if that sorts it

so its still stuck in offroad height.. the code is.. C1A13..
'Pressure does not decrease when venting gallery' .. duuuh really?
compressor is not running..
which valve is a likely culprit? or a connection?
I kinda think a valve.. a faulty valve would explain both cycling at normal height and not releasing at max height.. what do you think?

clear the fault codes so no suspension warning lights are on then try lowering all the way to access height then to normal then off road a few times

sorry that's the wealth of my knowledge on this ,hopefully someone with more knowledge will be along to advise more.
I would double check all the connections again especially the two big pipes at the rear.
