Seat cushion, cover and frame element - front row - change

Hallo,
Had an idea regarding the seat in older/used D3...I will try tio figure out.
Did anyone here tried to interchange the seat cussions between driver and passenger seat?

The Part Number of the cover and the foamcushion is the same,
While the Part Number for the frame is giving the following ::: ( taken from lrparts.ru )

"HFF500012 2 FRAME, NOT FOR USE WITH NAS PASSENGER SEAT

As I have the motorized, memory version, wich I think is not of direct interest for this project, there are at least the cable/connectors for the seat contact sensor and the heating mat to bear in mind.
........
The adventage in doing this change would be to get rid of the ripped side parts of the cushion cover as it woul go to the inside gap between seat and cubby box.
Aswell as the far more used foam cushion would change for a new drivers "sit and feel"

In case the frame (which is a metal mould indeed) is not directly interchangeable, it would be doable if the working package from 78.30.01 would be done twice.

Front Seat Cushion Cover (78.30.01)
Front Seat Cushion (78.10.12/99)

Thumbs Up - the seat belt sensor will need to be changed to do the job properly, I took the cushions and covers off and didn't change the seat pans to change over for exactly the same reason and is an excellent result.
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
