Front headlight alignment

I had to replace my bulbs a little while ago, and the off side was quite hard to get out, but obviously manged it. However, I've noticed that it's shining higher now than it was. I know how to adjust the height but wondered if anyone knew specs for the correct height alignment? I.e. if I was parked facing a wall on level ground, what distance from the wall should I be and what would the each light height be, if you get what I mean.... Or is there a more technical way to get this right... Smile

Changing the bulb should not obviously alter the beam position, may be worth checking the bulb is seated properly . The beam settings are on the slam panel showing the angle it should be set to . I take mine to local MoT garage who do the setting for free. Having said that I have never yet needed my D3 adjusted.
