Fault codes

Had my faults read yesterday and these two came up.

P0405-00 (twenty eight) Exhust gas recirculation sensor A circuit low

P0101-17 (sixty eight) Mass or volume air flow - circuit range/performance - genral electrical failure - circuit voltage above threshold

It's an 08 Auto with 91k on the clock. I've had the EGR's blanked and the software patch plus a remap both BAS. Any ideas or nothing to worry about.

Hi Andy. Think if your EGRs are blanked you can forget the first one.

There are a few posts about the second one. Sure someone more knowledgeable will have an opinion but if your motor is running ok would be inclined to ignore. IId tool is great but ignorance is also bliss... Very Happy

Had an HDC, transmission, limited gears, suspension lowered fault a couple of weeks back. Turned off and all has been well since. Put it down to Disco having a brain fart.

Will do a search on how to clean the MAP sensor Thumbs Up

Andy fault code 2 is linked to the egr's we have seen it before, it seems to not bother anything so just clear it , only a few cars seem to have it show up.. as for number 1 as RPB has said its because your egr's are blanked.

Had them all cleared and and as I've said car is driving well, especially with the new hub on Thumbs Up

Just started with the two stroke again as I hadn't used it for a bit. Will see if the engine quietens down a bit.
