Touch Screen: Extra Features
I'm very confused. See the following
Now my understanding is that if I press the extra features button on the touch screen there should be a button titled Ambient Lighting.
When I press it I get the 4X4i and Timed Climate options but nothing else.
I have had a look with my iid tool and can't find any corresponding settings. Am I right in saying that this feature should be able to control the mood lighting in the doors.
I have searched my iid and the extra features menu and can't find this Damn Ambient Lighting feature.

I think you'll find Ambient Lighting wasn't a standard fit on XS models.

I've fitted those and they work perfectly. It's the control option in the extra features section on the touch screen i am unable to locate despite its mention in the owners manual.Now with: Tow bar & storage, Xenon's, Remote Timed Climate, Mood Lighting, Cubby Fridge, DRL's & Mud Flaps

I have a MY 16 HSE Lux with ambient lighting and there is no way to adjust the brightness via the touch screen.

Maybe someone thought it was a good idea that never worked in reality, bit like the FBH timer on early D3s. No-one thought to pull it from the manual content.

This works on my HSE lux
I can change the brightness from off to way too bright, and can also change the colour from a pinky red through green to purple. I can even make them flash in time with the music like a proper disco!
