| Difference D4 between XS and SE Tech? |

Hi there,
Beginning the search for a D4 
Seen a SE Tech on auto trader and an XS, both seem to have exact in there, but what were the main differences?
The CS has Nav, leather manual seats, no arm rests etc...

Hi - I went from excatly that, XS (MY12) to SE Tech (MY16) as it was the closest match in terms of spec when I brought my latest D4 new at the end on 2015. Apart from slighly different alloys, the spec was exactly the same.
The SE Tech ought to be Euro6 engine as well, XS shouldnt be.

Now gone - MY16 D4 SE Tech, Loire Blue, Almond Leather, Privacy, plus some other goodies.
Old - MY12 D4 SDV6 XS Auto - Ipanema Sand with Almond Leather - Plus other niceties, and D4.com sticker
Older - D3 TDV6 XS Auto - Lugano Teal with Almond Leather, 20" Stormers, Shiny Tailpipes, DVD/TV - and obligatory D3 sticker
Ancient - D3 TDV6 S - Tonga with Ebony, 20" Stormers, satnav & DVD

Spoke to a stealer just now who confirmed that they did drop a few things off the XS when it moved to a SE Tech, these include electric seats etc - but people would have also added them back in as options
So at least I know a bit more now to help with search  Iggy/Ieuan

Were electric seats standard on later XS's? My 2010 doesn't have them.

I think that the majority of XS and SE Tech models were specified with options. As many buyers didn't want to spend the extra on an HSE or above, but went for something "in between" by adding a few extras to suit.
I once saw a used XS at the dealers which must have had virtually every option going. The original owner was adamant that he didn't want a sunroof. The depreciation was eye-watering. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE
2010 D4 HSE (A bit bling)-GONE
2014 D4 HSE (Almost too bling)-GONE
2015 D4 HSE (A heated what?)-GONE
2016 D4 Landmark (Written Off)-GONE
2016 D4 Landmark (Surely the last!) PD1881 rims-GONE

My MY12 XS didnt have electric seats as standard and neither did the SE Tech. But you are right, as there was a specific colour I was after my dealer managed to find an SE Tech in Loire with Almond, but this had the eletric seat pack inc armrests, privacy glass and the piano black trim, so I went for this

towing leccy is different on D4 from D3, steps are the same fitting, mudflaps are different on the rear (although I dont know anyone that ever moves these or steps from one car to another)
If SE Tech is Euro 6 (which I think they all are) the D3 spare wheel protector (uncle Rays if you have one) wont fit.
Mats have single hole fitting, where D3 had both double and single hole. D3 Alloys fit providing they are 19" or above.
Just a few things I noticed when moving from D3 to D4

I've got a 15my SE tech which is euro 5, they're not all euro6, depends when built. Eu6 build started in July 2015.
