Any noise from roof rails?

I took delivery of my Disco 10 days ago. It's brilliantly quiet. As part of the deal my dealer agreed to fit free roof rails, but as they were on back-order I would have to wait for a couple of weeks and get them added later.
I was wondering if they introduced any winde noise. Has anyone else got roof rails? Do they suffer from wind noise?

I have roof rails... and I cannot hear them !

This car is very quiet all round (apart from my squeaky clutch).

Likewise - no noise I can make out - an exceptionally quiet car (my temporary plug-in Parott bluetooth - pending LR getting the accessory phone kit issue sorted - works wonderfully as there is no background noise to affect it) Only noise I get is sudden clunks of items in the various bins moving around! Very Happy

My roof rails are very quiet. One word of advice though, when washing the car be careful of the sharp edges on the internal slots of the rails. I gashed my hand on one.

Rob - just occurred to me - when you say "roof rails" are you meaning the lengthwise rails as fitted on the HSE or the add on roof bars that then slot in across the roof between the rails? Question

roof rail noise

Yes, Ecosse, I meant the longitudinal ones. I guess the cross bars would probably whistle a bit, but as they are removable, that's not big deal.

Ours make a racket.
I take them off unless the surfboards are on them.
