Auxilary Battery Installation

I am looking for someone to install a secondary battery system, that is charged from main battery but does not run main battery down when in use.

Seen a system on a G4 at the weekend, it had power outlets in rear door and boot compartment for usb, 12v etc, showing volts from battery.

Can anyone help on this or put me in touch with someone in Southeast or Kent area.

Regards

Paul.

it's not a hard DIY - T-Max system, move some stuff off the battery tray, prise off some trim, make up some outlets..... takes time, which means that getting someone to do it for you would cost quite a bit if done commercially, but there's posts on here and elsewhere about it. I did it on mine, and it's useful to know what runs where.....

A T-max system is what you need Thumbs Up

Easy to install and you can run cables to the rear for a 12v rear panel.

Sorry can't help with someone to install though but is simple enough todo yourself Thumbs Up

Edit: in the time it took me to write that two replies! I need to type faster!

Icemans guide is a great guide. By doing it yourself you'll at least learn how it works and be able to do a bit of fault finding if you have a fault later down the line. You can also make the power panel as you please. Here's some of mine.

Yeah but that's boring, it's more fun getting your questions answered without doing any reading yourself!!!

I'm good thanks, you?? Over your spell of needing to be shown to the canal now?!

It looks like you're going to need some more cable.
And some mega fuses and auto fuses.
