Auto gearbox leaking from electrical conector
Hi
My gearbox appears to be leaking from the back where the electrical connector goes into it. My usual indy hasn't done one before and isn't willing to get involved, which is fair enough.
So just wondering what others have paid to get this done?
And also if anyone has any localish recommendations who could do this - I'm near Dover, Kent.
Cheers

Can't help with, were to get it done, but just so you know, to cure this leak the gearbox oil pan needs to be removed to get access to and release the electrical connector's retainer. (It's the seal around the retainer that's failed allowing ATF to leak out).
If you've still got the original plastic oil pan this is a good time to think about having a metal one fitted.

Yup metal sump may be on the cards
There's an auto transmission specialist who has good reviews but 65 miles away and a total ballache to get back from by bus/train, so just wondering if there were any in Thanet/Dover/Canterbury/Ashford areas.

Thought about it, but combination of lack of time/lack of confidence - rather leave it to a pro!
'Box changes beautifully, oil looks squeaky clean and only dripping a little, so not desperate but obviously would rather keep on top of it and do sooner rather than later. If i find somewhere I'll update in case it helps someone for future reference.
