Differential wear and tear
I changed all the transmission oils on my 08 D3 which has just under 50k (km) on the clock.
The guys at the shop said that the magnets in the drain caps of both diffs were full with metal abrasion. They said it was too much for a car with that mileage.
What do you think? Am I looking into some real problems with the diffs? Is this normal wear and tear?
(BTW: the car is not used for towing or for offroad)

I tend to say normal wear for such a car. as slong as you do not have any flakes or larger debris on the magnet you are ok.
Change the oil again in approx. 10tkm and see what you find.Achim

Weirdly quite normal for land rovers of all ages!
I do see the same on the trucks but much smaller quantities of schrapnel.
