Compressor mystery

The garage I use have just changed my damaged compressor, done by another garage, and have now said the new one won't stop running, he's checked for leaks and has found nothing.
Anyone got any ideas??
It's the updated AMK that's been fitted and he's done the software patch.
It's LRs in Speke so they know there way around an LR Thumbs Up

Did they fit a new relay? Is it a new compressor they have fitted?

Brand new, he never mentioned a relay.
He did say that he had fitted loads of the AMK compressors
Will have a chat with him in the morning.
Is a new relay important?
Cheers

It's not importend it's rather a precaution. Sometimes the contacts of the relay are bondet due to strong current. Therefore the compressor is running all the time. Regardless what the control box is doing.

Sorry lads, but I haven't been near the garage since I dropped it off this morning.
The mechanic is going to check it the morning to see if it held the air and is still level.
So I'll have to wait until the morn, I'll let youse know what the final call is Thumbs Up

A new compressor comes with a a new relay, it's procedure to change it with the compressor as a precaution, a stuck relay that has not been changed will burn a new compressor out very quickly.
Seems you have a problem that may have caused the old compressor to die prematurely.

Cheers M3DPO, the old compressor died prematurely because some clown lifted the D3 up on the compressor cover Evil or Very Mad
This is something that has appeared since the new AMK compressor was fitted.
Just need to wait and see Thumbs Up

Same mystery problem

Have just changed the compressor and relay but even though the tank is full the compressor won't stop. There are no leaks anywhere and the only fault code is u2000 which comes up supposedly because the compressorvoverworks/heats. The only time it stops is when you sink the suspension? Any ideas.
