swale area kent advice wanted please

Hello
Need some advice please I have a d3 54 plate hse and I have noticed oil on the drive so got this checked out at garage and they say the leak is from where an electrical plug goes into the gearbox and will be a big job having to remove various bits to access possibly 1-2 days work? Does anyone know if this is the right timescale? Anyone in the Kent area who could help or advise, want a 2nd opinion really from someone who knows these cars inside out I'm not sure the garage I went to did.

Done a bit more research its looking like the sheath around the plug that's defective and leaking.
How would I contract Geoff. for a price ?
