window trim
Chaps
My D4 is ony 16 months old, but the rubber (if it is rubber) around, mainly the rear door windows, isnt black anymore. Its more grey and very blotchy (white-ish blotches). I'm guessing its something its been cleaned with at the car wash or when its been in the dealers and come back "cleaned".
Whats best to get it back to black - I didnt want to just have a go with the silcon "back to black" stuff in case that caused me more issues.

Picture or two maybe?
As many of us have much older cars (mine 4 years old with 72K on the clock so quite the baby of the bunch) but I've never seen such tell tale 'greying'. As rubber is a natural product (and subject to process manufacturing in the form of vulcanising), is it possible you have a duff (poor quality) product?
I use professional traffic film remover and pressure washers (as I'm sure we all do) and I have never seen such 'blotching' (on any make of car I've owned)
Me thinks show the stealer before attacking it with anything
Good luck."Track day running - Don't put your foot back on the accelerator until your absolutely sure you don't have to take it off again"

Here are some pics - I know they look a bit like water marks, or if some sort of lacquer has come off. Ignore the actual rain water - they are still there when its bone dry.
