Weird driver's door issue

Been out fiddling with the cars and been coming across an issue with the D3 unlocking the driver's door. Every now and again for the last couple of weeks it doesn't unlock on the first press of the key, but has never failed on second press. Been doing this on at least one old key and the new key. It's almost as if the system only wants to unlock the car on the second press as if it's a rear door, present main key is set up for driver's door first then the rest.

Anyone else having this? Getting a little concerned that it will pack up totally leaving me to climb in through the passanger side, not fun if for 2 1/2 weeks on summer jolly.

TIA

D

Had that on my freelander, had to change the lock mechanism in the end.

Big Cry Big Cry Though thought that might be the case. Another thing that'll go on the TGD by DM list. Sad
