STEERING PROBLEM D4 2011

Hi guys,

I've just noticed a problem with my 2011 D4 model steering this past few days. Seems pretty stiff compared to normal especially hard lock right and left Rolling Eyes

No oil leaks and reservoir is full so at a lose to what the problem could be?

I'm going to take her in on Thursday for new breaks all round and don't want to start replacing the power steering pump if it's some simple Shocked

Does anyone have any potential ideas of what the problem may be or is it just a case of replacing a worn out pump? Rolling Eyes

The D4 has the same lower steering column as the D3:s. It is not uncommon for the lower steering column UJ to bind so try some WD40 on it or change the column. Do a search in the forum and you will find many similar threads.
