Help? Bluetooth pairing 2010 D4xs

Help please. I'm not a technophobe by any means. But this has me stumped!!
So I have read the manual, "With the ignition on select search on you phone, landrover will be displayed select and enter pin"
Well that's all very well but there isn't landrover in my bluetooth listing!!
I know the landy has bluetooth as the guy I bought it of showed me it working on his iphone 6.
I have a Samsung galaxy 6 which is up to date software wise.I have also tried it on a LG smart phone. It just doesn't appear in the bluetooth selectable devices.

Any suggestions greatfully received!!

It said to press phone button and then search. Iv looked at the rest of settings and can't see any other settings to enable.

Im pretty sure on my 2010 i did it through settings not the phone button

And i think the visability only stays active for a set time after ignition on so you might be timing out ( i may be wrong on that its been a while ) pairing is 2121 if memory serves correctly MY05 SE D3 Manual my first LR what a car
MY10 HSE D4 auto
MY14 XXV more buttons than the spaceshuttle

Problem resolved. Thank you. Got it connected. By doing the same as I was already doing. Maybe it was a timing out issue! Thanks for the help.
