Door strip removal

Anyone tried to remove the door strip?

Thinking of tackling mine with a heat gun but I run the risk of nackering my paint. I think they look so much better without them. 05 V8 HSE Bonatti Grey

I'm just waiting for warmer weather to fit some. I think they look better than rusty dents. A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.

Dental floss and a sawing action.
Then use lots of panel wipe or petrol to remove the residue. Mods:
