My side lights make my FBH light come on the dash. I'm told I need an upgrade to fix it. It's on my list of cch things to fix
Especially as I don't have a FBH 05 V8 HSE Bonatti Grey

well a downgrade or patch.
But how will you know when your lights are on ? in autumn/spring time with AUTO selected.
Try putting a bit of black tape over the light and see if you are happy to live without the light first.

You can get someone with an IID tool thats not locked to there own car to change the red fbh light to off when your lights are on as there is a my07+ or a my07 ecu flash i changed mine but did not like it as i thought it looked wrong with the colour so went back to no light on dash with my headlights on Discovery 3 se gone

Under "body" it think on the IID.
You have to enable the left and right separately.
of course you need the halogen bulb (h8?) fitted next to the side light bulb else it won't work
Ah with you now, you need the IID tool update, MY07+ for pre MY07 cars
At the same time the IID can edit the CCF got the corner lights.
If you've not got access, Flack (Mick ) is closest as he's in Preston, failing that if he's not abut, drop me a PM, I may be up your way with work later thus week

On closer inspection, it is not cornering lights, I don't not have the 2 holes in the side light area. It appears it will light up the side of the light (would be orange) but I am de-tango.

Yeah you could fit an orange LED in there for side markers. No config changes required.
