Suspension compressor

After overhauling the complete Hitachi, new seal kit for all valve block's, new suspension air tank, still appears that the compressor runs for around 5 mins (it's down on the bump stops) then cuts out and is extremely hot to the touch.

So, think it's time to bite the bullet and fit a new compressor. Any recommendations as to AMK or another Hitachi? I'm seriously thinking of selling once finished as this car has officially broken me! ☹

Cheers

Are you sure there is no leaks anywhere?
I had one like this once, then found the air reservoir was leaking, so no matter how hard the compressor was working, it just got hot and bothered and then stopped for a rest with no chance of lifting the car.
New reservoir fitted and up she went.

Make sure you haven't got a crushed or kinked pipe.
Have you checked the air intake

Cheers Andy.

Currently trying a process of elimination, hooked it back and left the pipes running to the rear off and it ran much longer before cutting out.
