Got 4 unopened 7.5l Magnolia, way overbought on that but didn’t get enough white. Unfortunately SWMBO is insisting on perfection so multiple coats required.

The amount of cars driving round with no lights on, because they have DLR’s on the front and the dash is always lit up, they forget that the rears aren’t on.
When DLR’s first appeared on Volvos back in the 70’s, yes you noticed a car with dlr lights on as they were the exception, but now they all have then on the front it’s lost it’s effectiveness. So maybe they shouldn’t now be on, or DLR’s should be both front and back ( which my D5 had but my Volvo doesn’t 😳)

Whole heartedly agree.
Those, along with the no lights travelling at high speed with no lights on a wet and windy day with blinding amounts of spray, for whom persecution is barely sufficient....

Go to B&Q in the big smoke. Off the top of my head, they stock that paint.

35 miles away. Not got the time to head up there, esp considering Tesco, B&Q and other assorted retail opportunities that would present themselves. SWBMO has banned me from being more than 10m from a paint brush or roller.

Tell SWMBO to go and get the paint! She’s wanting you to redecorate, then that’s the least she can do.
Are you a man or a mouse? A rhetorical question I suppose.

DSL’s been painting! And making tea, an integral part of painting.
PS Just had an email from TravPerks entitled “ Let's get to know each other”. Would love to get to know them up the road but that will have to wait until Jan 3rd.

Large business vehicles parked on residential road
Local 'man-and-a-van' business parks two very large Luton box vans and a large panel van (LWB Sprinter type) just down from our house, not 'illegally' parked position wise but inconsiderately and creates traffic issues now and then as this is a modern housing estate with windy, narrow, roads and they are near two corners close together.
The business registered address is much further along this road, some 100 houses away and the physical business is located 'round the corner' in the other direction about 1/2 mile away.
Most evenings, every weekend and holiday period these vans are parked in the same spot and due to size and location are a bit of an eye-sore and just look 'wrong' parked in this residential street.
A web based 'report it' link to local council gets response 'nothing to do with us' but given one has no MOT and the panel van has no MOT or tax (local dog-walker who knows most things going on said the 'owner' has abandoned this one and just wants the council to take it away, I assume he has 'paperwork' saying no longer linked to him officially) they have said they will 'take a look'.
One neighbour has threatened to slash the tyres, repeatedly, until they desist from parking there. Approach to the business owner living 100 houses down the road was met with a robust " off" so sympathy to his tyres being slashed waned somewhat at that point...... He obviously doesn't want them parked outside his own house!
I thought large business vehicles of this type were not allowed on residential roads (given house owners can't have a caravan on drive, etc.).
