Unable to select Sport Mode / Manual Gearbox

Hello All,

I'm new to this forum and haven't been to find an answer to my question, which is,

The auto side of the gearbox works fine, the red D stays on all the time even when the car is locked! So I'm guessing there's an Earth fault does anyone know the answer!

Thanks in Advance.

If I remember correctly, I'm sure I read once it could be another splice that needs soldering.

It is not affecting by the headlights I did see that post and tried it but no change.

I don't know if anyone has a clear response as it seems there are many variations of similar faults! I've yet to try if the terrain selector is affected as I think several have experienced that.

If I resolve the issue I'll post on here but if anyone else knows a possible fix please post here!

Thanks Very Happy

Yes I did resolve the issue see the link above, rain drops or water in the selector had shorted a resistor so took a chance and brought a 2nd hand selector off EBay!
