Help please!! Changing rear discs....
A little help please,
I am currently sitting outside trying to fit my new rear epb shoes, discs and pads, I've just gone to put the first side on and I can only just get the disc back ! It will only rotate with a bar and there is no adjustment left on the click adjuster.
I have an iid and think that maybe the epb is slightly engaged even thou I've followed bodsys brake bible to the letter, so how do I release the epb module with the car in the air or do I need to put it back together and release it that way,
Also should I do the other side before doing this?
Please help I'm desperate!!!!!
Thanks Sam

Have you completely slackened off the knurled wheel so that the adjuster is fully closed also use the iid to set the epb to mount position also make sure if you have removed the epb brake shoes that the bar that goes between them is in the correct position the shoes should be sitting tight to the wedge that sits inbetween them may be a good idea to post some pictures so we can have a look at your set upRange Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8 what a car

Hi thanks for the reply, yep I have completely slackened off the knurled nut it can't get any smaller, there is no thread showing.
I've took the disc off and on a few times double checking.
I'm just having some dinner will post some pics once back at it.
Can anyone point me the correct way to do the epb with the iid?
Thanks again Sam.

It will be the Allen screw adjuster wedge that is not fully offit only needs a tooth or two to stopp the disc going on or rotating freely when you replace the shoes..

Thanks for the replys sorry my phone died!
Geoff. No I don't think they are.
Flack I did try that but I found my error
The metal plate at the top with the little spring round was around the wrong way I.e. The lump was pushing on the hub this picture was my second side and I noticed as bodsy has a mock picture in the brake bible which was different to how I had put that one on.
Thank you very much for your replys I'm just going to try and bed them in now.
