Advice needed!!

I'm looking at a 60 plate Disco 4 tomorrow - it has a full service history from a LR dealer which i have just spoken to.

They say on the last service on October they noticed that there was

Play in the rear suspension balls joints arms and tie arms on the near side rear
and
Drive shaft seat on the O/S rear may need replacing but nothing major.

Im fully aware the belts need changing in September and know how much this will cost but as I've agreed a good purchase price I'm prepared for that.

My question is how much should i be looking at to repair the above? They said £700 ish

Budget for double you may be closer best to do all rear suspension at the same time it will be ready.

Yes agreed with both replies above, welcome to the forum, but be nice and give us a bit of an intro on the Welcome thread.

Also along the lines of nrich, if you need suspension work done on one side get the other side done at the same time to ensure a "balanced" drive Censored

And get ready for permagrin and a poorer wallet Laughing
LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.
