A quick look round the vehicle before driving-off can save you from pain. Actually getting to drive the vehicle in daylight revealed this:

That doesn't look right, so time to pull the calliper off and see what is what.

Looks like metal to metal contact, I'd have said pads have worn, but you replaced them recently. Either way it's new discs.

Rotor is a consistent 19.1mm across the face, so no damage done:

They all seem to have issues with rear calipiers at some time, doesn't take much to cause those back one to bind.

First time for me but yes, the rear calipers do have a bit of a reputation for sticking. I was very generous with the grease and the calliper moved with ease after the TLC.
