I'm looking for some measurements.
I have a 5 seater and would like to know where approximately the handles of the third row (with a 7 seater) are installed.
Here's what it looks like on a 5 seater with the measurements I need. The handles are the same all across, and those measurements are available
I did try to look above the headliner, so removed a couple of pieces (not too much as it takes time to remove everything). But so far I can see, even if I'd buy a couple of extra handles, I probably won't be able to fit them.
This is assuming the 'mounting points' for the handles in the third row are made similar as the ones on the second row.
The ones on the second row look like this
As one can see, there are small inserts aparentely. And by giving a quick glance at the presumed location on the third row, I was unable to spot similar inserts/anchor plates.
Can someone confirm how the inserts/anchor plates/mounting points for the third row handles look like?
Why bother? Well, I've been thinking of adding a Mantec Upper Load Lugga http://www.mantec.co.uk/productdetail.cfm?...7ACB4CE749 and now know the installation simply requires to remove the handles on the third row, have the Lugga between the handles and the roof and remount the handles.
