Moving from 13My sport across to the 14MY discovery it would seem.
What options did you discuss - they seem to be unsure about some of them (like wade sensing etc)

@disco7 I would advise against taking it in late Feb, make the dealer sit on it until March 1st as when/if you come to sell people have a mental record of it being older car if its on a 63 plate.
Best to set dealer expectation as well if that's what you want, as they approach end of month its amazing how they can forget and register a car by accident, especially if they are a few short of target...Disco3 is now gone but not forgotten. Waiting for Disco6 with full aluminium construction weight reduction and hybrid engine...

The most difficult period in the whole ordering process is the waiting for the collection of this great vehicle...
BTW, when it comes to selling the vehicle, any buyer would be more than dumb to reject a well maintained car for a one month delay in its initial registration. I realise that in the UK this March and September plate change sounds very important, but would you really lose that much money just for this reason? I got my last FIAT 500 on 24th Dec 2011, whereas if I got it in Jan 2012 it would be registered as year 2012, instead of 2011. When I sell it if someone considers it a 2011 model, then he'd better go and find another one. Just my opinion, but if I was buying second hand I would look at the registration date and the vehicle's MY, not the registration plate!

I will be holding for 1st March if the delivery date is Feb.
If its January im going to go for a 14 plate.
Don't know whats better getting the car ASAP or having to wait 6 months for it. (all this assumes they will start on the 4th!)

Dealer said it does make a fair ££ difference between Feb and March but not much at all between Jan and March...Feb seems to be an awful month for a car
