Have I missed some thing or do I need a couple of boy scouts
First time I have driven my D3 in the snow tonight. LED lights a great but cold and left me blind on the motorway due to build up of snow on head lights, as I said LED's are cold so they don't melt the snow like an old fashioned H4 bulb. how do others deal with this or is there a magic button that needs pressing or do I need a couple of boy scouts on the bonnet to clear the pesky stuff or maybe I should only drive it in day light when its snowing. As I said how do others deal with this ?

Headlamp washer jets?
First time I've seen this observation in 12 years 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

I donĀ“t think you need any boy scout, with giving the headlight sprayers should be enough...
... by the way they are XENON lights not LED lights.
...I'm sorry, I've been too slow answering..... lost in translation!

Headlamp washers do not work every shot - every i in 7 I think.
If you drive with high beam on the halogen fill lamp might help with a bit of heat.

Best think for catching snow is those silly plastic light guards, the holes just fill up and pretty soon you have absolutely nothing. Plus the washer jets do naff all to clear the snow apart from turn it green, especially when the water/screenwash mix turns to ice on contact with the headlight.

Saw that thread title and thought it was something to do with Operation Yewtree
