D3 cutting out
Hi all, probably too much of vague question, but I'll try...! My wife was in the car earlier and had it at idle for about 5 mins, during which it kept randomly cutting out for no apparent reason... Each time it restarted ok, but just a bit worrying as to what's causing it?!
I've had a look, nothing seems out of place, air filter is new, not clogged up or anything, no split pipes that I could see, (which wasn't much!) the only thing was the dipstick wasn't all the way back in, but in or out had no bearing on it idling... (Didn't know if had any effect on the breather system etc if it was out?)
Only other question is that, on the back bulkhead, near the master cylinder, I saw 2 brake pipes (?) that were cut? As per pic...
