Suspension Fault - C1A03-78 & C1A04-92
Morning all,
I am after some please after a slightly eventful drive to work this morning, thought I went into a pothole (nothing large), but immediately after the front of the car became very bouncy and the suspension fault message was displayed.
As I was only a couple of miles from work I carried on and as I thought, the front suspension had dropped. I have attached a picture of the codes. As I am at work I haven't tried looking any further, but when I do, is it likely to be a leak I am looking for?
Something that might be responsible and I was about to book it in anyway, a couple of times last week I did think I heard a knocking sound from the front on braking, so was wondering about bushes or something else worn, so could that potentially be the culprit instead?
I haven't tried to alter the suspension height either, as I was worried about the whole thing dropping, especially whilst it is now at work, but guess I should try.
Any help gratefully received, as always.
Andy

Thanks again for that.
Hopefully it can be looked at tomorrow as my journey home was like something out of Wacky Races, with the front on the floor and the rear going between off-road and extended mode.
Having cleared the codes the new one now relates to a rear height sensor
Pressing the button to lower the suspension just made the rear go higher.
I shall report back when I know the outcome, or buy an XC90!Andy

True, I would miss not having to hold onto the steering wheel to stop myself sliding off the seat! Andy
