IID tool key programming
my every day key got bang. It was the micro switch in the middle of the pcb which got loose. A pro tried to solder it on without success.
Took the 2nd key out and all was good until I figured to be needing a spare.
Bought a key incl. pcb and Panasonic battery but could not programm it. Bought another key from another vendor but could not programm it either.
Following the instructions all goes well until the "routine starts" message for the 2nd key prgramming. It stops after 3 seconds.
Taking a look at the fault messages it throws up

Is my spare key knackered as well?

I cleared all the faults but the key still resists being programmed.
Can it be that the pcb of the new keys are knackered? Or is above fault message a sign that my remaining original key is knackered?Achim

does the mhz match ur landy
uk is 433 hz , europe i believe is 315 mhz
just wondering on the off chance if it's the same mhz as ur transponder unit
hope that's not a daft answer

does seem strange
there's a u tube video that shows u how to do the sequence
think u have to start with the original
i did buy one first from the far east , but when it arrived i looked on the side it said 315 mhz
sounds daft but have u looked on the side of the fob to see if it says 433mhz
pic of the key that turned up from china , ordered a 433 but a 315mhz turned up
ps sorry it was 315 mhz not 333 mhz, apologise

Recently had this problem. Would not program. I agreed a 75% refund with the reseller and kept the key as I bought it on a punt.
I bought a "cleaned" LR key. Was expecting the same hassle. Worked first time.
