Misted up fog lights
When I bought my car, the near side front fog was misted up. Time has come to fix it but I can't find a specific thread for how to remove the unit. Can anyone help please ? I have a habit of breaking plastic clips etc !!!
Thanks

You just pull off plastic trim around light and you will find 3x torxscrews and hey presto its out, probably just needs a good clean and put back together, quite an easy job

The only plastic clips are the three holding the trim piece into the bumper, once you pulled that off the foglight comes out with three small torx screws.
Once out the unit can be stripped down again with the aid of a torx screwdriver, cleaned out and rebuilt with some silicone grease on the seal to stop the moisture getting in.
I've had to do both of mine, be prepared for some serious looking corrosion on the cheap alloy cast body.

Pull off the bezel that surrounds the fog light and you will find the 3 screws that hold the fog light in
There are 4 screws but one is an adjusting screws that stays with the fog light
Good luck

I cleaned and dried mine out but it misted up again.
I then removed the vent plug on top of the light and the condensation cleared .
I'll put it back if the weather gets bad again !.

If genuinely dirty I clean them by pouring in some isopropyl alcohol and giving them a shake - takes seconds.
Unless the vent is blocked or missing, drying and keeping them dry takes nothing more than turning them on for a bit.
Not everything is complicated.
