EGR Valve Low Voltage
Hi all,
Sorry have been searching for ages to find the answer but still not sure.
I have a 57 plate D3 which has started being very slow off the line until the revs get to around 2000 which in a manual would be ok but in an auto means we have been a bit scared on roundabouts and giveaways a few times.
Was looking to blank off the EGR valves anyway but I seem to be on the cusp of when this became a problem to do because of the EU4 engines. Also I would be grateful if someone could explain the refrence to engine numbers as mine doesn't seem to comply with what people have said I.e. I can't find where I would be "up to 7A" or after as per paddocks kit. http://www.paddockspares.com/da1112-egr-bl...gines.html
How do I find out if my car is an EU4 one and if so is the blanking kit different?
Also planning to get it remapped after so can sort out any mil light issues.
Again sorry for asking about something that has probably been asked before but I can't find the answer.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Sorry for not explaining above but I have had an egr valve voltage low error which after some spirited driving can be cleared and the dashboard light goes clear for a few days. Having said that the issue does occur without throwing a code so I assume that the egr is getting choked up and or sticking.
